Worship

Sunday morning worship begins with the quiet reflection of a Rite One Eucharist at 8:30 AM. This service concludes in time for adult formation classes, youth Sunday school, or special parish-wide events.

The 10:30 Rite Two service begins with processions of our young acolytes bearing the symbols of our faith. We enjoy glorious music featuring the St. Paul’s Choir, Children’s Choir or Handbell Choir, and our building's acoustics are second-to-none.  Before and after worship, as well as during Communion, our healing intercessors await anyone who would like to receive prayers in the chapel transept.  This service is lively, joyful, and echoes with the happy sounds of our youngest members.

Wednesday mornings at 11:00 AM we gather in the chapel transept of the church for a brief healing service with Holy Communion. Prayers for healing are offered along with the opportunity for individuals to receive the laying on of hands and anointing with healing oil by the priest.  (This service is offered from mid-August through June.)

During the course of the church year, we enjoy many special services such as Advent Lessons and Carols, Evensong, Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis, all Holy Week offerings, and youth-led services.

Each Wednesday during the season of Lent, we join with six area churches for a community Lenten worship series.  Each week includes a half-hour service featuring a brief sermon from one of the churches' pastors, followed by a fellowship lunch. We gather with a variety of denominations including Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian and Baptist.
