Father Richard Winston
Parish Administrator
Fr. Winston is St. Paul’s rector. He brings to our church a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to ministry, and a joyful enthusiasm for guiding communities in faith. He has a distinguished academic background, with degrees in history and politics, as well as in law, from the University of the West Indies in Barbados, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia, where he served as sacristan of Immanuel Chapel. Additionally, Fr. Winston has completed training with the College for Congregational Development, equipping him with specialized skills for congregational growth and community development.
Previously, Fr. Winston has served as the rector of Saint Michael & All Angels in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and has worked extensively in mediation and conflict resolution — skills he brings to ministry to foster healing and unity within congregations. Prior to pursuing his call to Holy Orders, Fr. Winston practiced law as a commercial litigator and served as executive director of an international trust company in the British Virgin Islands.
Fr. Winston is married to Laura and they have two children, Symone and Richie.
