Become a Member

All are welcome at St. Paul’s, so please join us and become a part of our parish family. We hope you’ll deepen your relationship to God and your connections with other Christians by prayerfully considering the following:

Baptism

Any person already baptized can be registered as a baptized member of our parish. We recognize as valid any baptism administered in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you have not been baptized and wish to be, please speak with the Rector.

Confirmation, Reception, Reaffirmation

  • All members of the church who were baptized as infants are encouraged to affirm their faith as adults through the rite of confirmation by the Bishop. *Those who have made a public affirmation of the Christian faith may be received into the Episcopal Church by the Bishop.
  • Those who have been baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church and wish to recommit themselves to the life of faith may choose to reaffirm their baptismal covenant with the Bishop.
  • An Inquirer’s Class held yearly will prepare candidates for confirmation, reception and reaffirmation.

Pledging

St. Paul's believes in year-round, continuous identification of the gifts we receive from God and our prayerful response through giving back. We believe that the pledge is a sacramental way to give of ourselves to God through the church. Each fall we spend time giving thanks for our blessings, identifying our ongoing needs, and ask members to make pledges so that we can plan for the future.  Those joining the congregation during the year may make a pledge at any time by filling out the pledge form online.
